The collection, use and processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with these Privacy Rules and applicable legal provisions, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 (hereinafter: “General Regulation”) and the Law on the Implementation of the General Regulation on data protection (OG 42/2018).
In accordance with the principle of transparency, these Rules are intended for respondents in order to have accurate and complete information about which of their personal data is collected, used, made available for inspection or otherwise processed by Fanat, as well as to what extent this personal data is measured. are processed or will be processed. Likewise, the purpose of these Rules is to familiarize individuals who use this internet portal with the risks, rules, protective measures and rights related to the processing of personal data and how to exercise their rights related to the processing.
These Rules are valid for and apply in relation to the collection, processing and protection of your personal data and the use of cookies and other similar analytical tools when visiting, registering and using the website www.hotelfanat.hr with all subdomains, when sending electronic mail. which has a link to this Privacy Policy, and when registering and communicating with you while you are a guest of our facility (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Our online services”).
The general rules and conditions of use of Fanat internet portals are determined by separate rules and conditions of use, and the stated rules and conditions will apply in everything that is not determined by these Rules, and provided that they do not contradict the provisions of these Privacy Rules.

Fanat collects and processes your personal data only if one of the assumptions listed below is met and we have your consent.

Fanat collects data when using services or accessing Fanat Internet portals:
(I) When booking accommodation and purchasing other products or services, the following are collected:

Data that you normally submit to us when booking or purchasing services, including name, surname, email address, or if you connect via social networks, then name and username and contact information. Name, surname, residential address, e-mail address, telephone number, personal identification number, information on personal identification document, information on purchased services (or products) Remarks and comments of guests
In addition to directly from respondents, Fanat can also collect personal data from other sources in the following cases:
– from specialized companies that provide information (eg credit rating agencies), business partners (eg tour operators) and public registers (register of craftsmen);
– if registration is done via social networks, eg Facebook, Google+, you accept that we use your user data, eg first name, last name, email address or some other information that you have approved to share;
– through video surveillance in the Fanat facility.
In a situation where you give Fanat personal data of other people, you should take care of the following:
– Fanat uses information about other persons that you provide to us, such as persons included in the accommodation reservation;
– When submitting information about other persons, you must be sure that they have agreed to it and that you have the authority to do so on their behalf. Wherever possible, you should ensure that you also inform them of the processing of personal data in this Privacy Policy.
Fanat processes the collected data for the purpose for which they were given and/or for a purpose based on the relevant regulation or legitimate interest arising from or related to the use of the Fanat internet portal and the provision of the desired services.
Therefore, Fanat may use your personal data to:
– Provided the services you requested, eg accommodation reservation;
– Provided the information you request regarding the services we offer;
– Facilitated the use of the Fanat internet portal by removing the need for frequent entry of the same data;

We forward certain personal data to competent authorities based on legal obligations, such as guest registration in the eVisitor system for the purpose of paying the residence tax, guest list and registration of foreigners’ residence.
In any case, when Fanat needs to share collected personal data, we demand that it be protected and not used for marketing purposes.
You have the right to request a copy of all your personal data that we have collected, and the data that we have collected when booking accommodation can be viewed from the reservation itself. You can write to us if you would like a copy of the other information we have collected from you, providing all the details to help us identify and locate your personal information. Data delivery is free, but Fanat reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for special requests, such as multiple copies, a special format or similar.
We want all of your information to be accurate and up-to-date, and if you notice that some of the information we hold is incorrect, please let us know.
Also, we remind you that you have the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data, as well as the right to object to the processing of personal data. Fanat will correct or delete your personal data, unless we need to retain it for legitimate legal or business interests.
If you have objections to the processing, use or storage of your personal data, please feel free to contact us. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you have the option to contact the supervisory authority, the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data.
All requests or objections regarding personal data collected by Fanat must be submitted in writing to the personal data protection officer. The request must include the email address you provided at the time of registration as well as the email address to which you wish to receive a response (if it is not the same as the email address from which you sent the request). Fanat will deliver the data to you, within a reasonable time, by e-mail to the e-mail address specified in the request.

If the personal data we process is transferred outside the European Union and the European Economic Area because it is necessary to technically perform the service requested by the user, then Fanat will take reasonable measures so that the persons to whom the data is shared, who are located outside the EU, take appropriate measures to protect the said data and to provide protection in accordance with these Privacy Rules.
The period in which Fanat keeps personal data is limited to a strict minimum, so Fanat prescribes periods of storage or periodic review of certain personal data so that they are not kept longer than is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which they were collected.
After the deadline, Fanat will delete personal data, and if the data is necessary for the purpose of creating statistical indicators, analysis or archiving, or some other legitimate interest of Fanat, all measures will be taken to anonymize personal data.
